Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer, Dwyer Group®
Lisa Zoellner is an accomplished executive business leader and has served in a variety of Marketing and Merchandising roles spanning 28 years with four highly recognized brands.
Currently, Lisa serves as the chief strategy and marketing officer (CSMO) for Dwyer Group, one of the world’s largest franchising companies of trade service brands. In this role, Lisa will be driving the marketing and communications strategy in support of Dwyer Group’s aggressive strategic initiatives. As a member of the executive team for Dwyer Group, Lisa will work closely with brand leadership and CEO, Mike Bidwell.
Prior to joining Dwyer Group, Lisa served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Golfsmith International, which is the world’s largest specialty golf retailer. In this role, Lisa was responsible for all aspects of marketing for the Golfsmith and Golf Town brands, including serving as the lead executive in charting a path to transform the multi-channel, product focused organization into a customer-centric, omni-channel retailer.
Zoellner brings a wealth of experience including having served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Gold’s Gym International — the largest full-service gym chain in the world with more than 700 locations in 42 states and 30 countries. She was instrumental in developing a best-in-class loyalty program that improved retention, drove member engagement and increased lifetime value. Her strategic vision and innovative solutions contributed to successive years of record-breaking revenue and profit for the company.
Lisa began her career at Blockbuster Entertainment when it was a category killer brand with 50 million members and 7000 stores in the US and 20+ countries. During her 16 year tenure, she held a number of roles in marketing, merchandising and operations including senior vice president, retail film and vice president of partnership marketing.
