David first joined The Dwyer Group® in May of 1994 when he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of E.K. Williams & Co., at the time owned by The Dwyer Group. In June 1997, he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of both E.K. Williams & Co. and General Business Services, also owned by The Dwyer Group at the time.

David left The Dwyer Group when E.K. Williams & Co. and General Business Services were sold in July 1998.

In May 2001, David rejoined The Dwyer Group where he currently serves as Vice President of International Relations of The Dwyer Group, and was additionally named President of Rainbow International® in May 2002. Mr. Bethea has more than 27 years of franchising experience.
