Doug is President and owner of DreamMaker® Bath & Kitchen. Since 1997, he has guided the international franchise to serve as the leader in the kitchen and bath remodeling industry. With approximately 190 locally-owned and operated franchises in 11 countries, DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen has served more than 2 million homes worldwide.

Doug's honors include leading DreamMaker to be named the 2003 Remodeler of the Year by Professional Remodeler magazine, one of Remodeling Magazine's "Big 50" and "Top 100" firms, Qualified Remodeler's "Top 500," and repeated listings in Entrepreneur's "Franchise 500.

Doug serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and is a frequent speaker at remodeling, franchising and general business meetings. He has addressed audiences at the Southern Building Show, the Remodelers' Show, and Baylor University's FastTrack Entrepreneurial Program graduation.

With more than 18 years of experience in franchising, Doug has held several leadership positions, all at The Dwyer Group based in Waco, Texas. His previous roles include: franchise sales for Rainbow International®; Director of Rainbow International; President of The Dwyer Group National Accounts, Inc.; and Vice President of Franchise Systems Management, Executive Vice President, and Chief Operating Officer of Worldwide Refinishing Systems (dba DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen). His management expertise includes operations, franchise development, franchise support, marketing development and warehousing.

Doug makes his home in Waco, Texas, and is the proud father of Ryan.
