Michael Green is passionate about helping small business owners achieve their dreams and goals by keeping four, focus areas in mind: help them save time, save money, grow revenue, and increase profitability. Michael draws from his 10-year entrepreneurial background, where he founded and operated a food-service business. This foundation of his professional path helps to keep the franchise owners’ needs as his top priority.
Michael also gained invaluable expertise as the Small Business Association’s
(SBA) Director of the award-winning Small Business Development Center.
At the SBA, he coached hundreds of future business owners to embrace strategic
planning, financial management and creating
a marketing plans. His resume also includes several years in operations
and sales at Fortune 500 companies Owens Corning Fiberglass, Xerox Corporation
and Aramark Corp.
Since joining Dwyer Group in 2012, Michael has worked as a franchise consultant for Mr. Rooter before being promoted to vice president of Operations for Mr. Appliance. As a result of his 20+ year successful track record increasing sales, managing finances, improving operational efficiencies and enthusiasm for developing others, Michael was promoted to President of The Grounds Guys in March 2017.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in Business Marketing from Southern University, Baton Rouge, La. He also earned the distinction of Master Business Development Specialist and is a certified trainer/facilitator with Franklin Covey (7 Habits for Effective Managers & Focus), Fast Trac, Profit Mastery and NxLevel. Michael currently serves on the McLennan Community College Child Care Development Advisory Board, Lorena Economic Foundation Board of Directors and Lorena Athletic Association.
