Neighborly Announces Large Conversion Franchise Development Program

Company to offer financial benefits to large independent operators wanting to join a franchise.

WACO, Texas – (April 6, 2011) – Neighborly, formerly Dwyer Group, one of the world’s largest franchising companies of trades service brands, has announced a new program designed specifically to assist large independent businesses interested in becoming a part of an even larger national and international franchise brand.

Neighborly’s Large Conversion Franchise Development Program will help plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, restoration, appliance service, glass replacement and landscape management companies convert their businesses into one of The Neighborly concepts. And the program will offer upfront funding of anticipated conversion costs to support the transition.

“We have very large companies that come to us all of the time and want to become a part of Neighborly,” said Robert Tunmire, executive vice president of The Neighborly. “And we have specifically created a new program that makes this process very appealing and easier than ever before.”

The program debuts alongside Neighborly’s 30th anniversary and recognizes a growing audience of interest that, while large and successful, is still looking for the added benefits of being part of a group with national buying power, extensive marketing support, branding success and multi-level business training.

“This new program is a win-win for all involved as it reduces the investment involved in a franchise without diluting any of the benefits,” Tunmire added.

Doug Dixon, director of conversion development, will be leading the program. For more information, prospects can contact Dixon or [email protected].
