This year’s business lessons come from 10 big names including Dwyer-Owens, Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh and best-selling author Stephen M.R. Covey.

Known across America for her appearance on the Emmy-award-winning reality show “Undercover Boss,” Dwyer-Owens will speak at 3 p.m. on Oct. 23 about the power of a working Code of Values in business and in life. In 2012, she went undercover on national television to see those values in action. And she details those same values in her book, “Live R.I.C.H.: How to build success in your company and your life — with a proven Code of Values.”

With more than 1,600 franchise locations around the world, Neighborly service brands account for more than $800 million in system-wide sales each year in the trades of plumbing, heating and air conditioning, electrical service and repair, glass installation, fire and water damage restoration and more.

“I credit my team for their commitment to Live R.I.C.H.,” Dwyer-Owens said. “And I want the success of Neighborly to be a testament for what can be achieved with a Code of Values as your roadmap. Our service brands make more than 2 million house calls a year and do some of the dirtiest jobs you can imagine. Every day we have the chance to be a hero and provide world-class service. That can be transforming for our internal associates and our external customers. Everyone has the capacity to Live R.I.C.H. like this.”

Dwyer-Owens launched the Live R.I.C.H. campaign in 2005 to promote The Neighborly Code of Values and the themes of Respect, Integrity, Customer focus and Having fun in the process to a growing company.
